maybe a source of confusion.
In Mailcontrol / Search form the "Search from Address" does not search in the "From:" header as maybe spontaneous interpreted,
but does search in the "Received: " header
This is logic with
viewtopic.php?p=31984
where is explained that
so I understand it uses the "envelope-from" data in the "Received: " header.(..) the address added by the mail server when the email is received during the SMTP protocol exchange. It never uses the From: header field in an email for the from address
Maybe this could be said explicitly in the search select ? Not "From" but "Envelope-from" ?
The "From:" header (as showed in most mail-clients) can be found using the "All headers" search.
