Joomla third-party Enquiry Forms Stopped Working

This is our first post and welcome to everyone.

Since we recently installed ConfigServer Security & Firewall (csf v6.38), it transpires that some of the third-party enquiry forms we have had running for a number of years without problem have stopped working.

Just wondering if there might be some setting in CSF that we have missed or incorrectly configured that might be causing the problem?

I have the same issues, Webforms ore mail send trough any webscript doest work anymore.
Tried to find someting at the forum for this issue but can't find it out.

Did you find the issue already? Been busy to find out for days.. no succes till now :-s

To troubleshoot, always dissable CSF and see if the scripts work again.

If the script works when CSF is OFF, then check your SMTP settings in CSF Configuration at:
# SECTION:SMTP Settings

For anyone that might find this useful, it fixed my identical issue....
Seems you need to add the IP address of the SMTP server concerned - in my case, GMail ie. the range 74.125.0.0/16 - to the csf.allow file.
Tried adding to the csf.ignore file, had no effect. Setting SMTP options in CSF configuration to as open as possible likewise had no effect.
Block must be elsewhere, it would be good to know how to be more specific...
