Accept Agreement - Possible Bug

Post by SilentSniper »

I am trying to run & install a .bin file, I am new to linux but run it by ./hlds.bin.
When i do, it comes up with an agreement, at the end it has: Enter 'yes' to accept this agreement, 'no' to decline.

When i enter 'yes' on its own, it gives me: y y y y y y y y y y y y y y y y. on new lines and will not stop adding more, so my IE7 crashes.

Is there any other way i can get past the agreement? I have fully read it by now, and the amount of time i have tried many other ways, i think i now have it graphicaly loged in my head word for word.

Best Regards

Sounds like you are trying to run something that reqiures a response, interactively in the cse virtual console, which you can't do. You'll have to actually do it in ssh.

usually port 22 but if you cant connect to this port you may have to contact your provider and see what port it is

It is my server, newly brought. But im used to Linux, how can i find out what the port is?

EDIT: Found the port, and changed it to one that was not already in use (The one it was trying was already in use). I Restarted the OpenSSH and it started perfectly. I connected and it asked for the "Login as: " I have tried root and others that i can get into the WHM with, but did not work, i got a error, "No supported authentication methods available".

Has anybody got any clues as to why this is?

Thanks in advance.
