Passive FTP Issue

Post by ericles1028 »

Ok here it goes.

I have an issue with Passive FTP.

I entered the following in my CSF firewall: 30000:50000

I also changed my pure-ftp.conf file to 30000 50000

Restarted the FTP

Still have the issue. Not sure if there is something other to do. Never had this issue before with my other server.

Any help is appreciated.

And you have that range in the TCP_IN ports section of the CSF configuration file?

Since you haven't said what the issue is exactly, the other thing I would check is that "Broken Clients Compatibility" is turned on.

Sorry, I cannot view the home directory when I log in with FTP. A few of my clients have no issues, which is strange.

What FTP client are you using?

Have you tried a different one?
