LFD create a zombie defunct process

This forum is only for reproducible bugs with csf and lfd (i.e. not iptables problems, lack of understanding how to use a feature, etc). Posts must be accompanied with full technical details of the problem and how it can be recreated. Any posts not adhering to this, or not considered bugs, will be moved to the General Discussion (csf) forum.

Got the same here on all 3 of our servers with Directadmin running, also for a longer period of time:

Code: Select all

root 20421 0.0 0.1 166948 23644 ? S 01:58 0:00 \_ lfd Cluster Server
root 18103 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? Z 06:28 0:00 \_ [lfd] <defunct>
root 27960 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? Z 12:35 0:00 \_ [lfd] <defunct>
root 11103 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? Z 13:21 0:00 \_ [lfd] <defunct>
We are doing nothing special, just having csf/lfd running.

2 our servers are running Centos 6.8 with the Directadmin control panel, kernel 2.6.32-642.3.1.el6.x86_64 which will be updated tonight.
The 3rd one is a VPS.

As mentioned previously, we need the relevant part of a debug log to look ino this further.
