Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can give me some small instruction on how to download files from the server to my PC.
I am attempting to download a mysql backup file using this utility which has been added to WHM/Cpanel. I can access the directory and files but am not sure exactly what option/link allows me to download the file directly to my pc. I can see it allows me to upload files easily enough but I need to do the reverse.

Ok never mind.. I was able to copy the file to the buffer & then to a directory that my ftp platform can access during which it wound up in my browser download directory anyways.. even though I do not need to do it now when I put in the second directory, I was able to edit the permission to 755 but not the ownership (stayed as root). Why will it not allow me to change the ownership from root to ie. www-data when I have root access in the Cpanel platform?
