I'm just trying to understand something ...

My installations of MailScanner are working perfectly, but I had a bit of a fright today when I noticed that in the MS FrontEnd, messages marked as spam in the SpamAssassin section have the text Action(s): deliver beside them.

I did some testing to ensure that domains that are set to delete spam were in fact having their spam deleted ... and they are,...

strange is in details it shows from address and to address as my email id :(

I just started using Mailscanner/Mailscanner FE about a month ago, ConfigServer installed it for me. I'm using version 4.74.16, and version v0.94.2 of ClamAV; CENTOS 5.2, cPanel 11.24.4

There have been no updates to the server, and CP updates are run manually. This evening at 5pm clamd stopped and will not start. I've tried the following things:

Can I make a simple feature request for MSFE (I have manually changed it on my installs - but every time and update is out - has to be done again!)

On the 'Access Mailwatch' Form, can you please append/prepend something random on to the target attribute of the form, as when you have multiple servers running MSFE and want to view mailwatch on them, every time you press the button the already open...

After updating MailScanner Script , ClamAV and MailScanner frontend
I cannot start mailscanner it just locks everthing in the queue
so have turned it off.
I have tried force reinstales
and /scripts/installspam
But no change still cannot start MailScanner and process queue
Can someone Help My clients will want their email
and its stuck in mailscanner queue

My mailscanner queue is just growing and growing without being processed. I increased the child threads hoping that would solve the problem, but it appears that nothing is being processed with mailscanner and I'm seeing no errors in the log. This started when I upgraded MSFE & MS from the MSFE page.

Hello, I cant see the Block spam senders (using exim_deny) and Block virus senders (using exim_deny) options in one of our cpanel servers. IS there any way to show these parameters?

Since earlier I have been gettin an email every 5 minutes (over 200 so far) saying:

I upgraded in MSFE ClamAV to 0.93 af information on the blog.

After this, ClamAV refuses to start and reports:
error while loading shared libraries: libclamav.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

In /usr/local/lib I see:

ConfigServer installed the complete package on my CentOS 5 VPS a couple months ago. Love your service. I have an issue now where a customer will utilize the Legacy File Manager in cpanel to upload a file and it indicates that it cannot because it has detected a virus.

I've scanned the file and it it clean. I've tried several things and the cpanel guys seem to point to you and haven't really...

I'm trying to release a 24Mb attachment from MailWatch Quarantine but it fails with this error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 25414673 bytes) in /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/3rdparty/mailwatch/pear/Mail/mimePart.php on line 293

I am using cPanel/WHM v10 and so an older version of MSFE.
Since my MSFE is outdated, it is showing wrongly newer ClamAV 0.92 is available instead of 0.95 So i cannot upgrade through MSFE.
I used to upgrade clamav manually by following the instructions from configserver/cp/upgrade.html But now both the upgrade and new installation instructions are on the same page configserver/free/clamav.html...

Today, I tried to update the GeoIP Database in the MSFE using the 'Update GeoIP Database' link and it timed out.

Since ordered the installation of MSFE, the Clamav virus Scanner in Cpanel fails.

Is there a way to have Clamav reinstalled in the standard cPanel way back again?
Is it Possible to run MSFE without Clamav?
Are there any special instructions to do it?
