Hello,

Every hour I seem to be getting an email containing the following:

/etc/cron.hourly/exim_deny.pl:

I was wondering if anybody could please tell me how to fix this. Thanks!

Just wondering if it is possible to easily change the number of messages displayed in the Mailscanner->Reports->Message Listing

So perhaps by adding something like ?display=250 to the URL to change the number of lines displayed or is there a config option somewhere that can be modified ?

Suddenly after working fine for a very long time, two of our servers just give a blank white page and spinning icon (in firefox) when trying to open the MailWatch page from within WHM --> ConfigServer MailScanner FE ---> Access MailWatch (button).

I'm not sure what happened here but after rebooting my server MailScanner no longer works unless I force a ClamAV update from the front-end.

I get an error message about No virus scanners found (something to that effect). I had ClamAV installed on the server but I had ConfigServer set up the MailScanner FE and apparently ClamAV is installed in a /local/ directory.

Any ideas on how to fix it? I...

Is it possible to update all users settings at once to delete spam rather than have it delivered?

Today I was unable to upgrade either MailScanner Script (2.79-> 2.80) or clamAV (v0.96.5 New:v0.97) from MailScanner FE GUI. Upon launching the upgrade, the scripts indicate that it is downloading the source files and then the page simply times out (in WHM). For the clamAV upgrade, this is the error I get in cpanel logs:

We were acting as backup MX for some folks with windows mail servers - they are dropping the email connections when they get spam - which means my MX backups are having...

This has just started to happen within the last few days. When I ran top and saw this Mailscanner extracting attachments and there were 3 processes running all taking 98% cpu usage. I thought it was a user trying to send a large attachment, but I saw other people on the mailscanner email lists are also having this or had this issue. I had to disable Mailscanner till I find an answer as this...

When I try to release a file from quarantine I receive the following error:

Release: error (unable to add recipient : Invalid response code received from server)

This process had always worked and I just recently started receiving this error. I have not made any changes to MailScanner it is a new install.

Has anyone else seen this issue?

Because a vulnerability is out in Exim. i upgraded my cpanel/whm. Then, i upgraded my mailscanner...

Since then, only a few spam are tagged as spam... (i tag for scores higher than 5...)

Most of the spam receives a score like 1 or 2...

I tried a few things...
of course, i tried to mailscanner update again... restarted it... I didn,t find anything of importance in maillog or exim_mainlog...

In regard to the latest security bulletin regarding exim,

/usr/mscpanel/msswitch inout says no such file on my system...

Once in a while the mails we send are being blocked by Barracuda Reputation system.
This is affecting our normal mail communication with our customers as well as suppliers.

Somehow, they are being able to see our real IP address that is in a ADSL cable Dynamic IP system.

Everything has ran fine for year or more. This morning tons of spam is coming through and when I checked Mailwatch there's no SA score. Tail looks fine, email in/out OK but no filtering going on. Did notice that Cpanel had a major upgrade sometime in past few days.
