Re: Email alert for cPanel/WHM logins
Suggestions: 1. Verify if LFD has identified the login by searching the main log: grep WHM/cPanel /var/log/lfd.log If no, the feature is not working. If yes, 2. Verify email was sent by searching the email log: grep WHM/cPanel /var/log/exim_mainlog If no, something is wrong somewhere. Verify where e...

Re: regex.custom.pm stopped working
Question 1: When this was working last year the /etc/csf/csf.deny file would acquire a corresponding entry for each blocked IP. I had assumed that csf used csf.deny to keep track of what was to be blocked and for how long. However, this does not appear to occur with the current version of csf/lfd. ...

Re: regex.custom.pm stopped working
Nice job puzzling that out. For reference, the grep search is: grep -P 'PATTERN' file It's best to match only the essential identifying phrase and the IP, then ignore the rest. Although my rules have '.*' at the ends, It appears unnecessary to match the whole line with the pattern because any match ...

Re: exclude Country from blocklists
Providing more information could help to get you more support. Please clarify: CSF version CC_IGNORE setting CC_LOOKUPS setting Blocklist(s) used and where/how used sample lfd.log lines containing 'GeoLite2' From your description, I am not clear as to what is working and what is not. In the iptables...

Re: regex.custom.pm stopped working
Suggestions: Ensure the CUSTOMX_LOGs defined that the bottom of csf.conf match those specified in your custom rules. Verify that the log format or log message your rules are searching for have not changed. GREP your logs with the rules to test them and verify that they work. I would verify these bef...

Re: /bin/sh: /usr/local/bandmin/bandmin: No such file or directory
That's all I got. Presuming that you... are running the latest version of CSF, that it upgraded properly, LF_CPANEL_BANDMIN ="0" (numeral zero or "", but nothing else), all bandmin directories have been removed, I can't see any reason in the current CSF code base for these messag...

Re: /bin/sh: /usr/local/bandmin/bandmin: No such file or directory
Dude – this isn't adding up. Which CSF version are you running? Please confirm. The Mon, Sep 30, 2019 at 11:40 AM message below states that /usr/local/bandmin/ exists, but you state that it doesn't. Here are three of about 30-35 just in the last month. ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: (...
