it seems i was using clamav and this was a problem.
i switched to clamd and everything looks good so far, i will keep monitoring.

after installing mailscanner i get very high loads like 30 and 40. i get processes like /usr/local/bin/clamscan --tempdir=/tmp/clamav.1524 -r --no-summary --stdout eating out 100% processor. the process owner is mailnull. can someone help me with this one? why is it even eating so much resources? i ...

what if the user has a virus/email worm/malware at a given moment? like a dm.cgi script or so? wouldn't you want to see what it sends? you can setup some email filters if it annoys you so much. that's what i did with some email reports - just forward them to some other let's say yahoo address which ...

i would like to see this option: "Generate and email this report if score is below:" and a dropdown of scores like: 116,117,118, etc. i think this is more useful/convenient than receiving an email every night and scrolling down to its bottom to see the score... i find it pretty annoying so...

i found the issue, it was the formatting of the file... after running "dos2unix -O filename.cgi" all went fine.

seems to be working now after i edited the MESSENGER_HTML_IN ports

i had 80,443,2082,2083,2095,2096 and it was not working.

now i only have 80,2083,2096 and it works fine.

there are no errors in lfd.log, the port i'm using is active, i can see the html message at http://domain.com:8080

i can't get this to work.

i have the ipt_REDIRECT module, i have created the csf user using useradd csf -s /bin/false

what am I missing?
