Barracuda Blocking our server
I have dig the net and posted in cPanel and Mike Tindor gave me this answer: ... modifying your exim to mask the IP address of the sender [or to remove that whole received line] is not the way to go. 9 times out of 10 the recipient mailsystem is using a Barracuda Spam Firewall with "deep scanni...

Thus, is it normal for any MTA to exhibit the initial source IP address ? Is it also correct to conclude that normally only spammers would be interested in hiding the ...

Barracuda Blocking our server
Once in a while the mails we send are being blocked by Barracuda Reputation system. This is affecting our normal mail communication with our customers as well as suppliers. Hi, In the page "ConfigServer MailScanner Front-End" I set "Keep x days of MailWatch MySQL database entries (0 = disable)" to 35 (I use this default for about 2 years) Since September, 15 my "Total Messages by Date" keeps growing and it stopped deleting old mails from t...

Bayes Database has been erased
I used to have a very large bayes database, but today I noticed that it has been wiped off. Questions: 1) Which are the directories that must be backed-up to recover the Bayes database in such circumstances? 2) What could possibly have wiped it? Is there settings in Mailscanner or MSFE that could ha...

Clamav is down
Hi, My clamav server is down and I am receiving thousands of clamd failed mails. I have already forced the update of Mailscanner, clamav and MSFE, but The only report I saw during clamav update was: Stopping clamd: [FAILED] Starting clamd: [FAILED] Anyone has the same issue? What more should I check...

That is a good solution to just give value of zero to the spamassassin rule, while the solution I posted above keep it running and use the same solution people at spamassasin gave.sawbuck wrote:http://blog.configserver.com/index.php?itemid=455
