Adding rules to spamassassin/configserver.cf have no effect.

... but it's probably just me. I am trying to not block, but just elevate the overall score if email is sent from certain TLDs. I've read all the form/group posts and spamassassin instructions pages I can find, but still there's no mention of these new scores in any new headers that I can find (that...

Re: Is it possible to allow one dedicated IP access to Russi

Thanks.

Is there a way to use the CC_Deny but at the same time, not block parts of that country. I don't want to white list certain IPs from the country that is listed in CC_Deny, but just not block them. Possible?

Is it possible to allow one dedicated IP access to Russia?

We block Russia using the DENY_CC feature, but one account using their own dedicated IP address on the server has customers in Russia.

Is it possible to create an exception for the general DENY_CC ban, so that one dedicated IP on the server can maintain access with Russia?

Re: Possible to use IP ranges in the GLOBAL_DENY list?

Nevermind. I decided to use the Blacklist feature built directly into exim via WHM, as spam sending was my only concern for blocking these IPs.

Thanks.

Possible to use IP ranges in the GLOBAL_DENY list?

Is it possible to establish a remote list of IPs for GLOBAL_DENY to reference which contain IP ranges like this:

198.177.120.202-198.177.120.212
198.177.121.122-198.177.121.143
198.177.123.50-198.177.123.118
198.177.126.86-198.177.126.149

Quick question about rules in the email header.

Hi, I know that there are many more MailScanner rules than what typically shows up in the email header, but I wonder, what is logic of rules that display a zero (0.00) score? For example, I am seeing a lot of these lately: URIBL_BLOCKED 0.00 So, what does that mean? Does it mean that the incoming IP...

Re: CSF is blocking access to RHN

I found the answer. It was a matter of putting the local network IP range the CSF allow file.

Re: cxswatch starting... Seems to be stuck on. Produces loa

Okay bingo, looks like I need to somehow keep csx from scanning error_log files, as this is what is apparently taking up the load.

Any recommendation about how to edit the configuration file to do this?

Thanks much.

Re: cxswatch starting... Seems to be stuck on. Produces loa

Okay, finally, "cxswatch starting..." went away and the load is returning to normal. Probably a false alarm on my part.
