You now need to disable the following options in WHM: WHM > Tweak Settings > SpamAssassin > uncheck WHM > Service Manager > spamd > uncheck Feature Manager > Edit feature list disable > SpamAssassin > Now that mail scanner is installed do I go back to t...

Hi Matt, Bayes will kick in after 200 (of each) spam and ham messages have been learned. You can often get some idea where SpamAssassin is hanging by saving a spam message (including all headers) in a text file (say, spam.txt) and then running the following command in the directory where you saved t...

You need to look at the mailscanner reports either in the message received by the sender, or in MailWatch, to find out why the attachments are being blocked. More information can be found in this FAQ entry:

Hi Peter,
Assuming that you have checked that clamav is working and catching other viruses, then this is something you need to take up with clamav. Here's a link to the web-based version of their mailing list:

Try repairing the database in WHM (SQL Services - Repair a Database). If that doesn't work, you may need to remove the mailscanner database and re-create it:
Code: Select all
mysql -e "drop database mailscanner"
perl /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/3rdparty/mailwatch/install/mwadd.pl
