A bit of a typo, i means xlsx, and yes it does.
Any ideas how I allow xlsx but deny xls

after many hours of scouring and pulling my hair out i think I found this in usr/mailscanner/etc/rules/virus_delievery_rules

Luckily I still have a full head of hair and can afford a few folicles.

Would the above rule also block xlxs files.

Does the dollar sign act as a wildcard. ??

Notify senders is configured = yes.
Notify Senders Of Viruses = No, but mailscanner is sending a notification.

Mailscanner and calmav are doing a decent job of blocking a recent wave of virus. But is it possible to have the IP blacklisted in CSF once a vrus has been detected. This might slow down sebsequent receipts for a short while. I did see that i may have been possible many years ago, but don't see this...

At least I thought I had, but its still sending out the warnings.
