I think I found the problem. I had:

DROP_IP_LOGGING

enabled. I disabled it and it all seems to be working now.

A little update, problem still persists. I had 67.210.0.0/16 blocked but csf was still adding it to the temp band list and then moving it to the permanent ban list. This is about 50-75 different IP's in the 67.210.3.XX to 67.210.12.XX range. I thought 67.210.3.0/20 might be a better fit but csf is s...

Temp IP bans

I noticed that 67.210.XXX.XXX has been constantly getting blocked because of port scans so I made a permanent block with 67.210.0.0/16 The problem is that even though it's permanently blocked, csf will still detect port scans and block any IP within the permanently blocked range. It will also then p...

Here's what cPanel says on the 'Update Configuration' page in WHM Edge is the bleeding edge tree. While it has the newest features; It has undergone the least amount of testing (if any). You generally shouldn't run this build unless you need a bug fix or feature in it. Once an equivalent CURRENT or ...

Since edge isn't recommended to be used in a production environment and that many changes will most likely take place before it reaches release and stable versions, I wouldn't expect csf to be updated to support 'beta' versions or a version that isn't officially released yet.

Well, if reinstalling perl fixes it, then it's a cpanel problem and you will need to reinstall it on all your servers anyway. Try it on one box. If it doesn't work, then you haven't lost much time. If it does work, then you'll need to do it to all your boxes and I don't think there's going to be any...

I don't think it has anything to do with the configserver scripts, I think it has to do more with a upcp One other problem I had was phpmyadmin access within cpanel for an affected server. I was also getting an error message from the cpanel hourly cron. More than just the configserver scripts were a...

I was having problems with one server after an upgrade, phpmyadmin wouldn't work for users although it did in whm, all of the configserver scripts were getting errors. Reinstalled perl and the problems went away. Thought it was isolated then it happened on another server all of a sudden. My first in...
