Re: CSF/LFD Does not automatically block IPs

Do you have any tips for this workaround? How to create these regexes?

Re: CSF/LFD Does not automatically block IPs

Thank you for your reply. This example is not SSHD, it's SMTPD. From /etc/csf/csf.conf: SMTPAUTH_LOG = "/var/log/secure" POP3D_LOG = "/var/log/mail.log" IMAPD_LOG = "/var/log/mail.log" From /var/log/mail.log: Feb 6 05:32:48 mail02 postfix/submission/smtpd[2459]: warning...

Re: How to automatically block IPs

Please let me rephrase this question (I really do not want to switch all servers to something else than CSF/LFD): is there someone out there, that has Debian 9 fully updated and CSF/LFD the latest version, where automatically blocking of rogue IP numbers just works? On non-DirectAdmin servers that i...

Re: CSF CC_DENY Error

It seems iptables is in use by another process. This can have a a number of reasons. Check with lsof what is using it. Also, csf is the only firewall on your system? You could try the FASTSTART, LF_IPSET and WAITLOCK settings in your /etc/csf/csf.conf file. Edit: I've read it can also be sluggishnes...

Re: Shortly after adding internal CIDR to csf.allow connection to integrated Web-UI not possible

It seems that basic functionality does not work and as said there are only questions. I'm still positive that I might be doing things wrong so I just wait for a while, but when questions can't be answered in a week or 2 I'll switch to another solution. I hope it will be answered though since I have ...

Re: Someone is online on my server

I think your problem has nothing to do with csf. You have to figure out if and why php-cgi from cpanel is using that much resources.

Re: Someone is online on my server

The process php-cgi with process ID 17354 is consuming 544 MB of memory and your threshold is 512 MB. Look for these settings in /etc/csf/csf.conf:
PT_LIMIT
PT_USERMEM

Re: Login attempts not always triggering

Hi,

Did you use the special DirectAdmin installation of CSF/LFD?
