Re: Many "lfd - (child) Statistic" processes

As an FYI, we had a server in a high load state this morning. lfd sent out an email with the output of ps, and there are over 7 HUNDRED "lfd - (child) Statistics..." processes listed. I'll email you the ps.txt, if it is of interest. We are running v7.56 (latest version)

Re: Mail Manage not showing email accounts

I had the same problem, with the master account and 3 mailboxes not showing up in CMM. I used the info found here to fix it. The problem was $homedir/etc/$domain/passwd had the wrong path listed, and the GIDs were also showing as "-1". I created a mailbox then reviewed passwd again, and th...

Re: Many "lfd - (child) Statistic" processes

Thanks, Jonathan! We had another similar event earlier this morning (about 58 of the lfd statistics processes), and I forwarded you the info from that, but this was BEFORE our update to v7.07. I will keep you posted!

Re: Many "lfd - (child) Statistic" processes

Hi Jonathan. We had this happen just now. lfd sent an email to let us know that the 5 minute average had hit 8.8 (the 1 minute average on this alert email says 24). This is a 16-CPU system. The email has ps.txt attached, and in that file it shows nearly 200 of these "lfd - (child) Statistics......

Re: LF_MODSEC question

Never mind! It seems to be working now! Email notifications now say "Failures: 10 (mod_security)"

LF_MODSEC question

I have LF_MODSEC set to 10, so I am expecting to have CSF block an IP after there have been 10 Mod Security Failures. When I get email notifications from CSF regarding an IP block that has taken place due to Mod_Security, it looks like this: Time: Mon Jul 14 21:08:24 2014 -0500 IP: 1.2.3.4 (FR/Franc...

Re: quarantine of wysija_campaigns in wordpress wp-admin

We're seeing the same thing, although it's quieted down the last few days. If you look closely at the notification, you will see the file in question is in /tmp. I think what happens is that the bad guy attempts to post something to WordPress and before WordPress even sees it, Apache writes the file...
