Re: Big Pending Queue (668640 emails)

I'm sorry, it is the "Delivery Queue" I am referring to.

As you look at the ConfigServer Mail Queues window, it is the top-most stat that currently says:

Delivery Queue (32867 emails)

How can I remove these 32k+ messages via the shell?

Re: Big Pending Queue (668640 emails)

Hi, I have the same exact problem, except with more like 34,000 messages.

I tried the instructions and they did not work, seemed to delete just a fraction of what I needed.

Is the pending queue located in a different directory these days?

Thanks much.

Re: mail gets by UNscored for accounts of addon domain.

Update, I tried to run the following which seemed to fix an issue like this a few years ago:

/usr/mscpanel/msswitch.pl in

But I get this line in shell when I do:

In Only scanning is no longer supported due to security restrictions in exim

mail gets by UNscored for accounts of addon domain.

This is baffling. I have checked everything I can think of, but all the email that comes to one particular email account of an addon domain never gets the mailscanner score in the header. There's no whitelisting, etc. and the email messages are not too large to be handled by the system. I just see a...

Re: MailWatch broken on two servers.

NEVERMIND. Silly me. This was a browser caching problem for at least one of these MailWatch pages.

Sorry.

MailWatch broken on two servers.

Suddenly after working fine for a very long time, two of our servers just give a blank white page and spinning icon (in firefox) when trying to open the MailWatch page from within WHM --> ConfigServer MailScanner FE ---> Access MailWatch (button). I did a force update of MailScanner, as well as the ...

System-wide keyword email filter?

Is there any aspect of MailScanner or CSF that can be used as a system-wide, keyword based anti-spam filter?

Let's say that I wanted to send to /dev/null all incoming email with the word "viagra" in the subject line. How would I do this?

Thanks much.

Resolved

cPanel.net reminded me that we have a few utilities in the server chattr locked and this was causing the issue. Their response: ----------- Your /usr/bin/strings was chattr +i, which was preventing binutils from being installed correctly. The following series of commands seems to have resolved this....
