Re: CSF Problem on CentOS 7

You must contact your provider and ask them to install ipt_state/xt_state and xt_connlimit.

Re: csf DA plugin bug @ centos7

I've got a reply from DirectAdmin support, CentOS 7 64-bit, ready for BETA testing Here is a copy paste: Memory usage on the services monitor page is taken from this script: /usr/local/directadmin/scripts/service_memory_usage.sh where the memory usage is taken from all processes of the same name fro...

Re: CentOS 7 install bug

Will CSF support firewalld in the future?

Centos7 uses firewalld by default. Does the installation script from CSF/LFD install iptables as well and disables firewalld?

Re: csf DA plugin bug @ centos7

I have installed the csf plugin for Directadmin on a server running the fairly new and shiny Centos 7. The script as such in functioning well, but in Directadmin's service monitor, the process shows up using 0 memory and cannot be (re)started or stopped. I'm running Centos7 / DirectAdmin and csf/lf...

Re: execute usr/sbin/csf -d within a php script

Thanks for posting your solution. I certainly will try it out. The implication for security is that in theory, any malicious web script can use the CSF command line options which are very powerful and could disable CSF completely - am I right ? You're right about that. But you can minimize risk if y...

Cleanup csf.deny if netblock is added, delete ip's

If csf.deny reaches it maximum limit [DENY_IP_LIMIT =] then the oldest entries are removed unless "do not delete" is specified. To avoid quick removal of rules due to DENY_IP_LIMIT please clean up csf.deny after a Netblock is added. When a Netblock is added there are multiple single ip adr...

Re: LFD email alerts for XX,XX countries only

I receive also a lot of messages from CSF in my inbox. I use message filters in Thunderbird to move these messages away from my inbox. Now I have a clean over view in a separate folder.

You could do something simular. But your suggestion for this as a features is nice.

Re: Custom REGEX rules for CSF.

Just another idea. Rule #3 is new so I want to implement this on my other servers. It's a bit tedious to SSH into every server and modify regex.custom.pm. Hint for the developers of CSF to edit regex.custom.pm within the CSF UI. (but might have security issues) Hint 2, Sergio's regex for blocking sc...
