Re: Custom REGEX rules for CSF.

Is there some bug with the latest release?

I noticed that the custom regex does not work on version 14. Same config on servers, except it works on installations running CSF 12 but not 14.

Re: new docker support not working

Does this still work for you? I cannot make CSF play nice with Docker. Latest Docker and latest CentOS 7. Initially it seems to work. I can launch containers, restart, etc. But then if I make some change on CSF and restart it, Docker will complain about iptables rules. It seems restarting the Docker...

Docker Options what do they do?

What exactly do the options for Docker do in the configuration? There is no documentation for this. Initially they seem to work but I'm not even sure if this is CSF not working at all because once you hit csf -r it seems this breaks something on a permanent basis as you cannot start any container an...

Missing binary locations

Default vanilla CentOS 7 minimal installation. After a new CSF installation, executing csf -r you get: *WARNING* Binary location for [HOST] [/usr/bin/host] in /etc/csf/csf.conf is either incorrect, is not installed or is not executable *WARNING* Missing or incorrect binary locations will break csf a...

Re: Configuration to block SlowLoris

Hello all, I've seen on the forums that I could block a Slowloris attack using Port Flood and Connection Tracking options. What's the recommeded configuration for those options to correctly block the Slowloris attack? Thanks a lot, Rogerio There is no recommended setting, it depend on the attack, (...

Re: How do I view CSF statiscts on webmin?

Wondering the same. It seems this is not available in the webmin version. Maybe they make the webmin version a more stripped down version as opposed to the cPanel one. I installed both versions in parallel and indeed the webmin does not have the systems statistics (which I don´t care to much) but th...

Re: Country Code Deny

Use that feature with precaution, unless you have a very powerful server I would not block a whole country. A whole country list is huge, this means you will load thousands of blocks of IP into iptables which will make it crawl or even possible not boot at all. Also, the country list is not perfect,...

New user questions

Im new to CFS, I mean I know it for years, but used my own custom scripts for IPtables before. So far I like it but I don´t seem to find the answer to some questions I had. Let me put it like this, the port scanner I had to disable from minute one as the max setting is not enough to avoid false posi...
