Hello,
I changed the value of LF_CPANEL to reduce the chance of banned IPs
due to bad password mistakes but I still don't understand the
purpose of the LF_CPANEL_PERM variable.

Can somebody explain me it better?

I have noticed that CSF has started to ban Google IPs when a user did setup Gmail to import their email account contents using pop3 showing an alert message like "5 distributed SMTP Logins on account"
Has anybody else have noticed something similar?

While mailscanner does not provide protection for outgoing spam I guess it could send some alerts when the EXIM queue size reaches a size that could suggest spam is being sent

Hello,
I am adding some IPs for banning in the file /etc/csf/csf.deny
however it seems like IPtables are not being updated with them.

Has anybody else noticed a similar issue?

I have noticed that mailscanner is catching some legit messages and marked them as bad content
using the rule "MailScanner: Attempt to hide real filename extension".
Is there a way to disable it?

PS:
I was trying to add the url of a picture, but the forum software didn´t allow me :(
