Scan PDF Files?
More and more spam emails are arriving at my servers with message bodies that look legit so they pass as NOT spam. But their PDF attachment contains blatant spam, so they are using this method to get by the spam filters. Does Mailscanner scan PDF files for spam? If not, what can be done to stop this...

Re: Lots of spam with no "From:" address
Thank you Sergio, I appreciate your attempt to help but this rule will not solve this problem. I already have hundreds of such rules for specific domains, but the problem with the emails in question is they are not from any particular domain. They are all missing the "envelope-from" sectio...

Re: Lots of spam with no "From:" address
Thank you for your help. It appears Mailscanner gets the 'From:' line from the 'envelope-from' of the header. The 'From:' line I am referring to is the one that has the Blacklist Email /Whitelist Email buttons next to it when viewing the email, so there is no way to block the email or domain if the ...

Lots of spam with no "From:" address
It seems like Mailscanner should automatically block email that has no "From:" address. We are getting a ton of these now and they are all 100% spam. We can block the IP but we obviously can't block the "From:" address if there is nothing to block. Are we missing a setting somewh...

Block CIDR
Having the instant IP block is an awesome feature and we use it frequently for repeat offenders. But these days so many spammers are sending from multiple IPs from a single CIDR 24 block. It would be so cool to have two options to click to block. One like the current single IP block, and a second on...

Remember Tab Selection
Since 99% of our CSF use is to block IPs it would sure be nice if CSF would remember what tab we have chosen. We always select the CSF tag to keep the Block IP field at the top, otherwise we have to scroll down to get to it. When we block an IP and return to the main page our tab selection is lost. ...

Automatic SYNFLOOD Enabling
We've been getting quite a few Syn Flood attacks lately. This is not a problem when were are present as we can manually enable SYNFLOOD. CSF is a life saver and lets us sleep at night, but the one thing that's missing is the ability to have SYNFLOOD automatically enable itself when it detects an unu...

Stopping and restarting cpsrvd appears to have fixed this. Thanks!

Re: Feature Request on MailControl, refresh timer button.
I second this. It's a great idea. It's super inconvenient to have to go to the menu while trying to beat the time to the next refresh.

Front end fatal errors
We are suddenly getting a fatal error with the front end of Mailscanner. We have not made any server changes. When a message is viewed get the following error on all types on messages other than "No Scan" messages: ERROR: malformed JSON string, neither tag, array, object, number, string or...
