That doesn't mean that MailScanner sent it, I believe that line is going to be there for every email that mailscanner processes. Exim may not be reporting the actual script used because it is a retry or a bounce message. You might want to search for other emails sent by that user to see if they cont...

This forum is for MailScanner when used with the ConfigServer MailScanner Front-End for cPanel. You say you installed Mailscanner directly and do not have the WHM plugin, so I assume you are not using our Mailscanner Front-End. We do not use the Mailscanner script that is developed and published on Github. We forked our own version a few years ago because there were serious bugs affecting cPanel servers that were not being fixed by the MailScanner developers, so we fixed them ourselves. That is not possible, as Mailscanner does not have access to the mail at smtp time and will not have given it a spam score at that point. Exim receives the mail, passes it to MailScanner, and then after scanning MailScanner passes it back to another exim process for delivery unless it is configured ...

There's a profile backup function within csf - look for "Firewall Profiles" in the UI.
